The Mineral Products Association is calling for entries to the prestigious 2026 Health & Safety Awards and announcing the launch of a new award for the Outstanding Contractor working within the mineral products industry.

The briefing notes and entry forms links below provide guidance on the information required to submit an entry. 

The key philosophy behind the MPA Health & Safety Awards is that we are all 'Safer by Sharing'. By actively participating you will be helping to prevent injuries and fatalities within the mineral products industry.

How to enter?

Once you have downloaded the forms please save them onto your system. The briefing notes will assist you to complete the sections of the entry form. Gather together any additional supporting information you might want to use to reinforce your entry such as videos, images, pdfs and graphics. When you have completed your entries e-mail them, together with any additional material, to entries@mpahsawards.org.

Please limit any additional informational you supply to no more than 6 files. Please also label the files clearly so that they can be easily identified with your entry.

Who can enter?

The 7 Topic Awards are open to any organisations working within the MPA product sectors within the UK.

  • MPA members and non-members
  • Companies of all sizes
  • Operators, contractors, suppliers, service providers

The Eurobitume Trophy and 'The Fatal 6' Award are open to any MPA or Eurobitume members but must relate to an innovation that can be viewed at a UK site.
To enter all the other awards you must be a member of MPA.

When do I need to submit my entry?

  • The Topic entries should be submitted by the 17th October 2025
  • Individual Recognition and Young Leaders by 17th October 2025
  • Eurobitume Trophy by 17th October 2025
  • Outstanding Contractor Award by 17th October  2025
  • The John Crabbe Trophy and Sir Frank Davies  entries should be submitted by 31st January 2026
